DON'T TERMITES ATTACK ONLY OLD, RUN-DOWN BUILDINGS?
Termites have been found in buildings as early as four days after construction. Every building fabricated wholly or partly of wood is susceptible.
I FOUND TERMITES IN MY YARD, DOES MY HOME NEED A TREATMENT?
Not necessarily. In Texas, termites can be easily found in soil. Most yards, especially those in older, established neighborhoods, can be deemed as supportive of termite activity. Finding termites in a fence or woodpile, or in landscape timbers, does not necessarily mean that your home needs to be treated, but it does mean that there is termite activity near your home.
