Customer Retention Specialist
Reliant Pest Management is a locally owned, pest control company located in North Houston. We are committed to delivering effective and environmentally conscious pest control services in a professional manner to Texas homeowners.
We are excited to grow our office staff and are now looking for a retention specialist / customer service representative who enjoys communicating with customers, resolving concerns and helping others in a team environment. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
In this position, your responsibilities will be handling calls from customers regarding cancellation with an objective to save their business and maximize retention. You must have the ability to diffuse and deescalate difficult customers.
- Handles various incoming and outgoing customer concern focused phone calls
- Resolves customer questions, complaints and inquiries in a professional, helpful manner
- Demonstrating sound judgment, patience, and diplomacy in dealing with our customers
- Following up with customers to gain honest feedback about our service experience
- Professionally manages difficult or emotional customer situations, responds promptly to customer needs and responds to requests for service.
- Positive, problem-solving attitude
- Negotiation skills to help navigate through escalated calls
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting expectations
- Self-Driven, dependable, able to pay close attention to detail, and extremely organized
- Ability to deal calmly and professionally with customer issues
- Must have at a minimum two years of customer service experience
- Must have experience dealing with escalated customer calls
Hours: 8a-5p M-F; 8a-12p Sat (1-2x’s/mo)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Day Shift
Bi-Lingual: Preferred
